Summary
Autonomous driving legislation accepted, the world standardising on AI Ethics and a new games conference in Bristol
Speaking Games
The lovely Ben Ackland is running a new conference in Bristol this September (we’re trying to cajole him into offering something special for our members). It’s a great new exciting way of gaming and being run in Bristol. If you’re into games or audio generally then it’s one not to miss! We Speak Games.

The world of Autonomous vehicles takes a step forward
For anyone interested in the world of autonomous vehicles it’s great news that the go-ahead for autonomous vehicles on the road has been accepted by the government. It’s a great and interesting field of tech for those interested in using their skills for future mobility.
UK Government today confirmed they accept the recommendations in the January 2022 Law Commissions AV report. They intend to implement as part of the upcoming Transport Bill. CCAV’s full policy paper can be found at: https://lnkd.in/eAm-xQES

AI Ethics
We also spotted an interesting discussion on LinkedIn on another area that’s related and also busy standardising at the moment. So if it’s an area of interest to you it’s a great set of resources to tap into. Big thanks to Dr. Ravit Dotan who has been sharing this as part of her research.
