Bored Yet? Heres some things to entertain you.

Okay so we think we are starting to get the hang of the social isolation and other than not remembering what day it is (EVER) and never having to make an effort with our appearance (except when work annoyingly sets up video calls!) its not too bad.

The fact that we are scared to brave the shops is new and luckily we have had Bristol stepping up with:

The Lockdown Economy website naming all the local independant businesses and what they are offering currently

A google map with links and details again of local businesses who are still going – here.

Resources for learning or basically anything by the look of it, based around ADHD but seems to have everything for bored kids! Chatterpack

and guess what ? Marshfields are doing home deliery on ice-cream .. yes you heard right!!

So carrying on the upskilling this week we are looking at Digital Marketing skills:

Both Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) inform digital strategy on both a data and content level.

Data / Analytics

Most businesses have huge amounts of data to track, and need to understand how to gather and use this to their advantage. You need to not only know how to “read” this data, but to know exactly which data to use towards improving business strategy in the future.

Alison : Coursera : InLearning: Udemy

Content Marketing

Understand how to create high quality, SEO-friendly content of various sorts and understand how to effectively get audiences to engage.

Digital marketing professionals don’t have to know everything about video production but knowing how to create a quick intro video from your laptop is a good place to start.
