New Opportunity: Artist Call Out

We are looking to commission an artist to creatively interpret data from the citizen-science air quality project, Slow the Smoke.

The commission will involve creatively working with data collected from air quality sensors and the stories/ideas collected from the community to share a clear message and help effect change.

We are looking for an artist working in any medium who has:

  • Experience of working with data and interpreting different data sources;
  • Experience of or interest in working in community contexts;
  • A working process that allows for collaboration and iteration;
  • Passion for and strong skills in creating tangible lasting outcomes that tell powerful stories;

Call out for Felix Girls Group from DigiLocal

Digilocal logo

DigiLocal been asked to support a club with Felix Road Adventure Playground and their Felix Girls group.

They’re hoping the club will run 5:30-6:30pm as an extension to their usual activities. Normally they close at 5:30 but it depends if they can get volunteers for a 4:30-5:30 club.

If any folks with WTH would like to get involved, please contact John Bradford.

You’ll need DBS checks eventually but those can be done for free, and as they’ll be with the youth group leaders it’s not critical to have that in place before it starts.
