As you may have spotted alongside our Data Science conference we are running our third inclusive careers fair. We run these to support local companies who are looking for a chance to showcase themselves and looking to recruit a diverse team. You don’t have to be looking for data people but you do have to have an open mind and looking to reach out to our members. We have a limited number of spaces and are currently chatting to multiple companies who want to engage. If you want to reach out to us for more details then please contact us on email@example.com.
Note: this is NOT open to recruitment agencies, only to companies wishing to recruit directly. We want the companies to be open to speaking to all of our members whether they are job-ready or interested in a future in the industry.
We hadn’t forgotten that this week happens to be Bristish Science week from the 11th until the 20th. British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths – but check out the link and find out whats on (seriously you don’t want us to highlight it all for you do you!?). Their theme for the 2022 British Science Week activity packs and poster competition – ‘Growth’! – check it out!

We found this resource this week which may be of interest to some of our Cyber enthusiasts. It’s called ivypanda and has training but also a variety of interesting resources such as Cyber Security Threats: How Students Can Protect Their Data. Check it out if Cyber is your interest: note it is a US-based company.
If you are interested in any of our candidates please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss. If any of you are looking for jobs then feel free to send us your requirements and we can put you on our candidate’s list.
