International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day Events

So while we don’t do anything special for International women’s day (we essentially support International women’s year really) we do like to highlight some events that may be of interest to you. We are considering starting a rumour that all our women should get a present or something and see if that takes off – then we definitely would be celebrating!

International Women’s Day @ Future Space

This is going to be our favourite as we have Thanh our co-founder there so its obviously something to plug! (we know most of the others and they are all brilliant too – so worth turning up for)

Join us for International Women’s Day as we talk with five inspirational women from across the UWE Bristol University Enterprise Zone: Amanda Nurse, Amber Probyn, Hazel McShane, Thanh Quan-Nicholls, and Tonia Tzemanaki.

Hosted by Future Space’s Innovation Manager, Aimee Skinner, the panel will discuss what breaking the bias means. You will hear first-hand the journeys of these five incredible leaders, experts in their field and paving the way for a new generation of female entrepreneurs and innovators.
