Since May 2019, 12 participants from across Bristol have been taking part in the Making It programme at Knowle West Media Centre: The Factory – learning a range of digital design and making skills, and developing ideas for their own products and enterprises.

Meet the makers and explore the range of 2D and 3D products they’ve fabricated using The Factory’s digital manufacturing equipment, from laser- and vinyl-cutters to 3D printers and digital embroidery machines.

Bristol Tech Fair

We are moving on with our November so keep an eye on our website BristolTechFair as we put it all together and try to ensure its the highlight of the Bristol Tech Festival week. We will also be sharing our partners and jobs on our careers fair website Tech3Shed.

Workshop Wednesdays

The next Workshop Wednesday will be this week on the 11th of September – we would like to thank everyone who has attended, hosted and supported this initiative, we think it‘s been great. We have lots of interest from people wanting to host workshops when we come back in September which we will announce over the summer, with a calender of events to keep you informed.

We have moved future Conference events onto dedicated pages – both for ours and any other local ones. There are also reviews on conferences that we have started if our members want to give or read feedback – we would like to keep this from an inclusive perspective as we are aware that conferences can be uncomfortable to attend when poorly managed.
