It’s all the fun of the BristolTech Fair!

We’re starting to get very excited by the Fair and the companies coming along to show off their support of their Diverse and inclusive workforce! We have almost 1000 tickets gone already and the events and sponsors are starting to come together So don’t forget to signup here on Eventbrite.

WISE mini-conference

A quick overview – last week we shared the WISE mini conference aimed at the grown ups this part is a discussion about challenges and opportunities from school to the boardroom.  Bitesize talks, debates and listening opportunities from experts and people with lived experience. Interactive exhibition – have your say and put your programme/action/idea/or question on the map – alongside the main facts and challenges and solutions.

Tech3Shed Careers Fair

The Careers Fair is the second that we have run and we have called out to teh city to see what great companies out there want to talk about Diversity and want to actually have a converstaion with diverse groups. Whilst we concentrate on getting the women into the industry we welcome all diversity and people looking for work to come along and have a discussion.

GirlGeekDinners

Don’t forget that Girl Geek Dinners are running both in Bristol and in Bath this week – see the happenings below. Interestingly we had almost 100 new Bristol GirlGeekDinners members sign up this week – so if you are reading this .. a big WELCOME!

Echoberg is still on the road

Digital Culture Research Centre present a funny, thought-provoking show created afresh each time by the audience in conversation with an artificial intelligence. These shows are part of academic research into audience opinions on the performance and the role of AI in entertainment and in wider society. Pop along to one of their events at UWE for sign up here

Our Next workshop is next Wednesday the 23rd October and is always open to companies wishing to run workshops and engage in exchange for pizzas!
