Workshop Wednesdays
Starting at the next Workshop Wednesday 19th June, Kathryn (from CodeHub (https://www.codehub.org.uk/) will be kicking off self-led python study group(s). The aim is to bring together people who want to learn or improve their python skills, provide suggestions on learning materials/courses, and share experiences on what makes effective self-led groups. At the end of the
All levels and genders are welcome, though the focus is likely to be on those who are less (or no) experienced in python. We would warmly welcome those who have a few python skills already and would be willing to support the groups – it will be a fun way of helping your own development, as well as being a great addition to your CV!
GrrrlGames will also be there ” Grrrl Games is for women* interested in the field of game development. We meet up on the first Tuesday of every month in Bristol, for talks, practical sessions and group discussions on all areas of gaming. “
Any companies wishing to engage by paying for pizzas and drinks and running workshops etc please get in touch on info@wthub.org.
Bristol Tech Fair
We have a date – it will be on the 9th November and it will be at the Colston Hall Bristol Tech Fair (currently setting up the site!) alongside Technotopia, our Tech3shed careers fair and WISE and possibly with some collaboration with TEDxBristol.
