Are you interested in how data can help us be more empowering and caring?
Join us for an afternoon event and help us explore how better use of data can improve the quality of lives of the residents and guests in our city.
We will consider how data and information could be used to help with local priorities and how we can best support the development of an empowered and caring City.
The session will include presentations ‘Our Data Project’ commission winners and local thematic experts. There will also be a world cafe style workshop to explore how data and information can be used in relation to the One City Plan themes.
Local strategic priorities and projects such as ‘Ending Period Poverty’ will be addressed.
We will uncover the challenges, identify available data, collate a wish list of data, map projects and document ideas.
The event has been designed to provide voice for:
Citizens ~ Developers ~ Community ~ Academia ~ Public sector ~ Businesses.

I am organizing a one-day free workshop for women where the participants will learn how to code, more concretely how to build a website with Python and a bit of CSS, HTML. The workshop will take place at Bloomberg in London. The registration to participate in the workshop is open and it will be open until the
May. All the details about the workshop are 19th the website girls.pylondinium.org. No previous experience with programming is required, so it could be pretty good for some of the women you said you work on. It would be really nice if you shared the news about the workshop in the Bristol Geek Girls meetup, maybe some other Geek Girls meetup and anybody you might think might be interested in it. on
