Women Tech Founders

… is returning after a break. There were some other initiatives around the city in this area and as we only exist to fill in gaps where we believe we can best serve our members we waited to see if we still needed to run the WTF. Over the last few months though it appears that there are some requests and are therefore setting it back up in a new format.

Thanh Quan-Nicolls will be running the events and will start the first one on the 15th of June. The subject will be the new fund that she is managing and we have decided to keep it short and post-family bathtimes so from 8pm – 9pm. Join up here: We’re Back with the new Digital Innovation Fund.

I am very pleased to be launching the new Digital Innovation Fund from UWE Bristol.  We have a £1m in grants to support digital innovation projects for SMEs in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.  We can provide eligible business in any sector with between £10-40k in grants for 35% of the project costs.  Check out for more information.  If you want to have a chat with me about it, how to apply and what sort of projects might be suitable you can book in a session with me via

Stuff we spotted and thought we would pass on

Kissy Kissy

Constance is running a crowdfunder for her game Kissy Kissy so if you want to show some support for one of our #WTechFounders you can support her on Crowdfunder here

Kissy Kissy! is a small game that has already had heaps of positive feedback from people of all ages who have played it. You can try out level 1 free on itch. It’s cute and quirky and relatable – the two little characters, Tiger & Bee, like to build safe spaces to hide away from grandparents intent on kissing them. All Tiger & Bee want to do is play their games and build their den, always dressed in their character wonzies.
