One of the purposes of the WTH is to promote and support the various women’s tech groups in the area and as we run a couple of them its not so difficult.Last night Oracle kindly hosted the Bristol Girl Geek Dinners, its a group that has been running since 2010 and currently has a membership of almost 400 on meetup.
As we are working closely with ADLIB to get the Womens Tech Hub off the ground we’ve agreed to do a series of articles on women who are in .. Tech! We are going to try and tie it in with the speakers from the upcoming events so meet Jen who is speaking at tomorrow’s Bristol GirlGeekDinners meetup @ Oracle.

A couple of weeks ago we met up with the Economic Secretary to the Treasury Harriet Baldwin, who is also interested in improving gender diversity in the finance and tech industry. We just had a thank-you forwarded on from the company we were invited to meet her by.
