Girl Geek Dinners coming your way …

Next week we will mostly be GirlGeekdinnering with MadeTech

For those of you who have never heard of Made Tech they are essentially a public sector technology delivery experts. We work with forward-thinking leaders to modernise legacy technology and working practices, and accelerate digital and technology delivery.

They are massively geeky on all things Data, AI and Cloud.

The speaker will be using Docker as a medium to help describe how to negotiate a career in the industry looking at

• explore how to survey the problem landscape
• where to start
• when we should measure value
• how big a leap to take
• (and most importantly) when to stop

It will be story telling using a geeky theme to explain how you can view your tech careers, how to know you are on the right road .. at least we believe. Its also got some docker principles which if you want to understand a bit more about Docker its a good time to ask someone in the know. For those of you who don’t know Docker – don’t worry, its only used to story tell in this case but possibly nice to understand its capabilities.

pssst .. Docker is used from deploying applications in different environments in something called containers which are lightweight, isolated, and easy to deploy apparently.
