At Good With, we’re looking for an ambitious senior, full-stack software leader to join us. Founder & CEO, Gabriela Isas and Co-Founder & CSO (Chief Scientific Officer) Dr. Ellie Kallis have created a unique risk profile that citizens understand & control and banks recognise. We’re seeking a tech leader who will bring this prototype to market.

The focus is on creating a solid product, scalable architecture and delightful user experience. Our tech team is set to grow rapidly in the coming months and the ideal candidate is required to define the team structure, refine the tech stack, and take ownership of ensuring we stand up to technical due diligence and regulatory scrutiny.

We are looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking leader, who will take responsibility for the technical team, and support c-level decision-makers in taking our product to market. If this is you, apply today!

Job Specification

Good With is recruiting for a Full Stack Engineering Leader who will work at the heart of a dynamic, multidisciplinary and agile team, who wants to. As one of the early members, you’ll develop the platform and infrastructure connecting a text-enabled intelligent mobile app, financial OpenBanking data sources, behavioural data, state-of-the-art intelligent analytics and a real-time recommendation engine.

Python and open-source technologies are the overarching strategic choice for server-side applications and components such as proxies and databases.

The role fulfils two key responsibilities:

1. Development of server (backend) applications and databases:

  • The applications will support a mobile app, providing secure user authentication, profile information, and user financial data including summary overviews, analytics and recommendations.
  • Core applications will synchronise data from banking and finance sources through the OpenBanking API.
  • Development of secure databases of user and financial data, supporting real-time conversational interactions with mobile app users, and architected to scale with user growth.

2. Development of scalable cloud-hosted infrastructure:

  • Secure cloud-hosted environments for the applications.
  • Support for hosted firewalls, proxies, databases, backups, and API interfaces.
  • Monitoring for health, performance, and security.
  • Automated continuous build, test, integration and deployment of applications and data.

We are looking for an individual who has demonstrable experience developing server applications that have been successfully adopted by users, maintained security and performance with growth in users.

Your experience will include working in an agile team, doing iterative development, and monitoring both infrastructure as well as user experience. Knowledge or experience of CI/CD will be helpful.

You will have experience working with a security function to design and develop secure applications and infrastructure, assess and mitigate risks, and support formal security assurance processes, ideally in the financial services sector.

We’re a remote working team who meets quarterly in the South West, where HQ is based.

Please don’t be put off applying because you aren’t a perfect match for our job description. If you are excited about the opportunity, think you can achieve the outcomes we are looking for, but aren’t sure if you tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you.
