Join us as a UAV Engineer and contribute to every stage of aircraft development. This role is
ideal for someone passionate about turning ideas into tangible, flying systems that solve critical problems to solve.

You’ll work alongside a supportive, mission-focused team to bring production-ready UAVs to life. Your expertise will directly shape how these systems evolve, with opportunities to see your work deployed in the field alongside partners like coast guards and environmental agencies.

What you’ll do:
– Guide the development of key aircraft components—structures, power systems, aerodynamics, and more
– Use thoughtful problem-solving to balance design tradeoffs
– Collaborate on design reviews, testing strategies, and iterative prototyping
– Partner with end-users to understand their needs (from Arctic researchers to coastal teams)
– Support real-world deployments and travel to field sites (optional, but encouraged!)

You’ll thrive here if you:
– Have experience prototyping UAVs, drones, or related systems (academic, hobby, or professional)
– Enjoy team-oriented problem-solving in dynamic environments
– Balance creativity with detail-oriented rigor to simplify complex tasks
– Are curious about learning new domains and tackling interdisciplinary work
– Hold a degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience

Bonus skills (not required, but a plus!):
– CAD, 3D printing, or CNC machining
– Battery/power systems design (e.g., Li-ion)
– Coding for testing and insights (Python, MATLAB, etc.)
– Experience with RC aircraft or flight certifications
