Job purpose
As our Workplace Technology Manager, you will define and implement our digital workplace strategy to boost productivity and collaboration. The role will involve overseeing our digital workplace environment, staying ahead of the latest technology trends, optimizing processes, managing vendors and leading on project management. You will understand the importance of putting our people at the heart of everything we do, and designing systems and processes that are intuitive, intelligent and inclusive.
Key responsibilities and duties
→ Develop and execute a workplace technology strategy, closing aligned with Situ’s objectives, values, and culture to boost productivity and collaboration in a hybrid working model.
→ Oversee the day to day operations of Situ’s workplace tools, working with our third party providers to ensure processes are optimised and updated to reflect new business requirements.
→ Stay up to date with current tickets and issues ensuring our partners are resolving these within the agreed timeframes and quality expectations that have been defined.
→ Provide support for on site meeting and collaboration spaces ensuring Audio Visual equipment is user friendly, performant and enhances the office experience.
→ Lead on Workplace Technology projects, from planning and requirements gathering to overseeing implementation and evaluation.
→ Define project scopes, objectives and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed within established timelines and budgets.
→ Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery.
→ Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance, security and compliance.
→ Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process improvement.
→ Develop and deliver training programmes and materials to educate Situ colleagues on the effective use of workplace technologies.
→ Promote and drive user adoption of digital workplace tools, fostering a culture of collaboration, exploration, and innovation.
→ Regularly obtain colleague feedback and identify improvements in the Situ workplace experience.
→ Proactively manage the relationship with our primary IT partner and service provider, ensuring effective delivery of contracted services and solutions.
→ Maintain oversight of all assets and SaaS licenses, ensuring good cost management and forecasting.
Skill Requirements
→ Proven experience in managing workplace technologies, digital workplace tools, designing and delivering effective training programmes
→ Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
→ In-depth knowledge of enterprise collaboration platforms, communications systems, productivity tools and other workplace technologies
→ Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders
→ Up to date knowledge of workplace technology trends and emerging technologies
→ Experience in managing vendors with demonstrable experience in maturing processes and improving effectiveness
→ Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
→ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify technology solutions aligned with business requirements
→ Proficient in troubleshooting technology issues and providing user support
→ Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Power Platforms and Zendesk
→ ITIL v4 or v3 advantageous but not essential

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 plus benefits and opportunity to take part in the company bonus scheme
Start date: Immediate
Core hours: Monday – Friday 8:45 am – 5:30 pm
