Our WTHub Newsletter goes out first to our members and our mailing list as a relatively attractive pdf with pictures. This is the non-pretty version for all to read ~ if you want the pdf emailed to you then let us know email@example.com and we’ll put you on our list.
Joys of Spring with WTHub~Bristol
Our favourite piece of news is we can officially announce that Thanh Quan-Nicholls of desklodge has come on board as co-founder of WTHub. Thanh is full of energy and ideas to get us up and running sustainably.
In other news, Serrie & Constance took the WTHub table to Voxxed Bristol ~ thanks John Bradford! We supported their efforts to engage with women in tech and went along on the day to connect too. We had sweets to hand out and issued a gobstopper challenge that some of the Dyson team bravely took on. nb it wasn’t just to stop people interrupting us when we pitched WTH to them…
We also handed out lots of stickers at Voxxed to highlight the date of our DIVERSITY? event on Sat.24th June at Watershed ~ this will be the first WTH annual summer conference and we want to bring together a wide range of Bristol/SouthWest people who are keen to increase diversity in tech. We want the day to be a place to share good workplace practice about how to recruit and retain people in tech, as well as offer an opportunity for potential employees to come and talk to the companies hiring. More to follow.
