It’s the 15th and 16th of Match 2019 – so
We request no unsolicited social media – you are welcome to take selfies but please ask if you want someone else in the picture and if they say ‘no’ that’s it – a complete sentence, no reasoning needed and no badgering them! The same with there being no recruiters, this is a sponsored event by the companies in attendance and not an opportunity for recruiters so let us know if you spot any and we will kindly ask them to leave.
We just got asked how smart to dress as the picture on our website looks quite suited – we’ll admit we were looking for an event picture with diversity on it, we didn’t even consider the clothes. The industry is pretty relaxed about dress code so please don’t bother with 3 piece suits for the occasion, it’s about having a relaxed environment with a chance to actually talk to the people inside companies rather than through their HR or a recruiter. If you feel more at home in a 3 piece suit then we obviously won’t kick you out for dress code but please don’t worry too much (obviously you might want to check for dodgy shirts!)
