WTF ~ Bristol 2nd Quarterly: Ideas

The Womens Tech Founders meetup is all about creating a trusted support network for women either running a tech company or thinking of creating a tech start-up.   Also we welcome in women and men who would like to support our women either with financial, book keeping or funding advice or support.

We are very pleased to announce the second of our Women Tech Founders quarterlies on Tuesday, July 17th from 6.00-8.30pm at the Digital Studio, Natwest.

The second part in our quarterly series is about knowing that you have a great business idea, understanding what it is, how to research it and where to get support before dipping into the unknown.

Ideas

Our theme for the evening is “Ideas: Getting Ready “ and we have three wonderful key speakers:

Rosie Bennett – Centre Director of setsquared Bath which is an accelerator for virtual, pre-incubation and incubation stage companies SetSquared

Janice Rae – experienced with growing esablished businesses which led to the startup of EngageHQ and more recently Women’s Tech Jobs

Jo Duncan – started up Lean Content publishes a regular column for techspark dear-e-me and incidently also does comedy (we are working with Jo on a workshop currently to help women with presentation for pitching/conference speaking/in meetings etc .. hold this space…)

Come and meet

The format of our WTF evening is a half hour panel discussion followed by networking. We would like to curate the networking to some extent so that we are able to best connect and support our members – we will ask you to answer a question on the invite acceptance that will help us sort this.

Please feel free to suggest options and add to discussion on our WTF meetup discussion board.

Sign up for the event HERE on the WTF meetup.
