About

Women’s Tech Hub grew out of Bristol Girl Geek Dinners, where Serrie Chapman and Constance Fleuriot met and recognised a need to share what women in tech were discussing with the industry. They wanted to develop space for clear conversations about the lack of diversity in tech while actively developing solutions. Thanh Quan-Nicholls came in to support the group by hosting us at Desklodge for careers and networking sessions and now for free workshops, so we stole her for the group! Susie King came in to add some heart to the group and ensure everyone’s well-being and Constance then slipped off to play with her games company. We are constantly evolving and welcome anyone wanting to increase their diversity to come along and chat!

Women’s Tech Hub wants to create a support system for women in tech, focusing on practical strategies such as peer mentoring, training & confidence-boosting, as well as re:Train for women who want to upskill or are completely new to tech. We recognise that the more we support each other, the more we can get out there and inspire others.
