How to Make an Ally Out of Your Self-Doubt

Self-doubt. We all know the feeling – that familiar critical voice that pops up right when we’re about to take a step forward. But what could happen if you learned to work with it, instead of in spite of it (or instead of letting it railroad you all together!)?

That’s exactly what this session is about. “How to Make an Ally Out of Your Self-Doubt” is an engaging, interactive session exploring the Confidence Gap between men and women, how it shapes our careers in tech, and most importantly what we can do about it.

What you’ll take away

You’ll walk away from this session with:

  • A deeper understanding of how the Confidence Gap affects women in tech

  • Practical ways to reframe self-doubt into something constructive

  • Strategies you can use straight away to progress in your career or next project

Whether you’re just considering a career in tech, working towards your next step up, or navigating your way back in, this talk is designed to be encouraging, useful, and immediately actionable.

It’s not about “faking it till you make it”, although we will touch on that, it’s about seeing self-doubt as information you can use, instead of instructions you have to live by.

Why join us?

This session is a chance to reflect, learn, and connect with others who know the unique challenges of working in tech. Expect warmth, honesty, and plenty of practical insights you can carry into your own career journey.
