As part of our commitment to driving growth in apprenticeships and addressing skills shortages, we’re working alongside employers, trainers, and further education partners to open doors for women and underrepresented groups. Through our Women Like Me mentoring programme, we are diversifying Degree Apprenticeships and creating pathways for women in industries where they have traditionally been underrepresented.
UWE Bristol’s strategy is to be a catalyst for social change, and this event highlights our commitment to addressing educational and social inequalities. By working closely with employers and regional partners, we are creating new pathways to higher-level skills and expanding access to education for students of all ages and backgrounds.

About the organiser
Women’s Tech Hub is a not-for-profit social enterprise that helps women wanting to move into a career in tech or wanting to develop their career. Their three previous career events have proved hugely successful and offer a rare opportunity for women to speak face to face with companies, rather than be overlooked as is the industry norm at similar events.
The event is curated with University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), Mayoral Combined Authority offering to learners, West of England Combined Authority, Western Training Provider Network (WTPN) and a select group of community and professional partners.
