What we do

Women’s Tech Hub exists to encourage none-included groups, primarily gender-related who are in, or interested in tech to help support and develop their careers within the industry.

We aim to create a support system for women in tech, focusing on practical strategies such as workshops, career support, peer mentoring, informal discussions and signposting to training and other career solutions. We run regular workshops, meetups and events such as our supportive careers fairs and small conferences.  We recognise that the more we support each other, the more we can get out there and inspire others.

Networking

We support via our networking events as well as signposting other local tech-related groups which we often co-host such as ‘CodeHub’ and the ‘Bristol Data and Machine Learning group’. We aim to help local tech companies create a more diverse and inclusive workplace culture that benefits everyone, through running the local chapter of GirlGeekDinners and our careers fairs.

Our events

We run regular events and networking opportunities including Workshop Wednesday and Girl Geek Dinners. We also try to keep an eye out on events of interest including tech conferences, meetups and any events that we run or our partners.

Support

Women’s Tech Hub provides a range of support services for women in tech, aimed at increasing diversity and gender equality in the tech industry.
