Most recently, in Manchester, Bright Futures was held on Tuesday 1st July 2025 at the Imperial War Museum North. The event brought together twenty students from Cedar Mount Academy, nine regional
entrepreneurs and a panel of investors including Sure Valley Ventures, Northern Gritstone, Manchester
Angels, GC Angels and Amoo Venture Capital Advisory. Founders received feedback from both seasoned investors and young people, who challenged them to explain their businesses in ways that made sense to
a broader, more diverse audience. One founder described the day as a rare dual feedback loop, where they were pushed to clarify their purpose and better connect with future markets. For investors, the presence of young people added unexpected value, revealing new angles and prompting more thoughtful decision-making. What all of these events have shown is that young people bring more than enthusiasm.
They bring clarity, honesty and a human-centred lens that can sharpen innovation itself. They are not just future leaders. They are active contributors to the economy today.

be held on Tuesday 11th November 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Bristol Beacon, Trenchard Street, Bristol BS1 5AR. The event will bring together a new group of young investors, regional founders and
national investors for a day of real pitches, real decisions and real impact.
