Guest blog – Exciting Update from mimi.coach: Live demonstration of leading-edge AI system coaching Motivational Interviewing skills

We would like anyone who is involved with Motivational Interviewing (MI) to attend this webinar to see how mimi.coach could work for you. This will be held on Wednesday 5th June at 2pm and will feature a live demonstration of mimi.coach in action. Whilst this presentation will focus on MI, the system can also be used for many other training scenarios.

mimi.coach is designed to extend the opportunity for end users to reinforce their learning through practical conversations using natural conversation by voice or text with a virtual patient. They can safely explore things like reflections, expressing empathy, goal setting and all the other key motivational interview skills.

This completely live demonstration will use OARS skills to establish a therapeutic relationship with Peter, who is newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. As part of the demonstration, you will learn their position on diabetes and potential to change and will offer feedback on the accuracy and appropriateness of questions asked to ensure that good practice is adhered too.
